Elk/Manley/Sparkle

DSCN0856

I was driving down the road the other day and had to come back to get this picture.  These are all elk in this pasture.  They are down from the mountains.  (Click on the picture to enlarge it)

Here’s Manley out in his xpen enjoying (or at least trying to)  the sunshine and cool breeze.

Oh no!  It’s a shaggy coat bobcat!! Really, it’s Sparkle.  She cried so bad to go outside, so here she is!!

Snuggling with Manley.  (Poor Manley)

Sparkle likes to sneak out the door when I am letting Manley in or out but sticks close by the door.  So, this time she got put in the xpen and wasn’t sure she liked it!   (She never offered to climb the fence either. She’s a little timid that way.)

Before I got her, the guy had a cat door, so she was in and out a lot.  This will not be a common practice.  Just wanted to see what she would do.

Today I’m  going to Farmington with Catherine (supper is off due to a change in their daughter’s schedule) and tomorrow is grooming day for Manley and Sparkle.  She is blowing coat faster than Manley.

Then I’ll do some yard work, as it is suppose to be in the low 70’s and sunny.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures!   Now on to enjoying a nice sunny day!!
